Sons of Dominion Motorcycle Club was founded in 2008 in Richmond, Virginia. The mother charter was founded on the same principles that guide all Sons of Dominion today… Honor, Courage, Loyalty, Faith, and Respect.

The Sons of Dominion is a Club that values all bikers and we respect all clubs. We are NOT a 1% club. We are not outlaws. We ARE a club that follows the principles of brotherhood and respect that have been passed down in the motorcycle community over the last 80 years.

We run our club by the same rules and principles of brotherhood that have governed motorcycle clubs in years past. We value the hang around and probationary periods established by clubs the world over. We are not affiliated with any other clubs, nor do we claim any territory, but respect all others as they engage in their own traditions.

If you want to be a part of a community that values strong men living out the values of Honor, Courage, Loyalty, Faith, and Respect… is Law Abiding… and strongly believes in the brotherhood of bikers, then maybe the Sons of Dominion is a club for you.

Our NAME

We call ourselves SONS OF DOMINION paying honor to:
>  the brotherhood of motorcycling
>  our elders/fathers/and those gone before
>  the passage of strength from father to son in all warrior societies
>  the founding charter started in Richmond Virginia… aka Old Dominion
>  the power that we have as brothers and good, strong men

What is the SODMC?
>  We are a Traditional Motorcycle Club

We respect all clubs that respect us, mind our own business, and seek to defend those who can’t defend themselves.

What is the difference between a Motorcycle Club and all the rest? (Riding Club/Motorcycle Ministry/LE Group/etc)?
The Sons of Dominion is a Motorcycle Club. That means you cannot buy membership or your way into the club. Members must earn their colors over time, respect the club’s hierarchy, and act in the customs and traditions befitting a true biker club. The process is not taken lightly.

Do I have to own a particular kind of motorcycle?
No – As long as you ride a motorcycle capable of keeping up with the group you are welcome.

How many of you are there?
We value quality over quantity. And out of a traditional sense of respect and security we do not talk about our numbers, members, or club business. Come hang around with us to find out for yourself.

How do I join?
Meet us. Ride with us. Hang around us. Our colors have to be earned by demonstrating the values we insist upon within our community. Membership is earned, not purchased. To take the first step, ask a member you meet, or contact us on this website to arrange a first meeting/initial interview.  If everyone agrees that it may be a good fit, you may be invited to hang around with us at your local charter. From there, you earn trust, respect, and investigate if prospecting is for you. If you are invited to prospect, be prepared to spend a significant period of time learning this club, our culture, and earning the brothers’ respect.

Do you haze prospective members?
No. That stuff is for frat boys. We are about instilling Honor, Courage, Loyalty, Faith and Respect and upholding the tenants of brotherhood. You will earn your way – but with honor.
